The installer will need to be run first to install the driver before you connect the dongle. Please refer KB link https://www.wilcomamerica.com/support/knowledge-base/how-to-install-embroiderystudio-e4
Once you reach step 5 is when it prompts you to connect the dongle, you will need to attach.
