 Scalable Solution

RAID Modes and Diskless Enclosure Model

LinkStation Pro Duo Diskless Enclosure features two internal drive bays with RAID 0/1 support when two hard drives are installed. Easily install up to two hard drives and automatically duplicate your data when configured in RAID 1 (hard drives not included). With LinkStation Pro Duo, a second hard drive can be added at any time and the unit can be configured in RAID 1 with no data loss. Easily mirror and protect your data with no time lost.

RAID 0 combines all drives into a single array offering maximum capacity with no redundancy.
■RAID 1
RAID 1 mirrors the two drives, creating an exact copy of data for fault tolerance.

Power Savings mode automatically powers the LinkStation on and off with your PC (requires installation of NAS Navigator)

※To use the Power Savings Mode, turn your LinkStation power mode to the AUTO position.
※Power Savings Mode and ON/OFF Timer function cannot be used simultaneously.

ON/OFF Timer

The LinkStation includes an ON/OFF Timer function that powers the drive only during programmed time periods. This prevents wastage of electricity when the user forgets to turn off the NAS. It reduces energy wastage when power is left on after office hours, on days off, or when the drive is not in use. You can program up to three timer settings.

※To use the ON/OFF Timer function, turn your LinkStation power mode to the ON position. Power Savings Mode and ON/OFF Timer function cannot be used simultaneously

Buffalo products come with a 3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Buffalo Technology warrants in good operating condition for the warranty period. This warranty does not include non-Buffalo Technology installed components. If the Buffalo product malfunctions during the warranty period, Buffalo Technology will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product at no charge, provided the product has not been subjected to misuse, abuse or non-Buffalo Technology authorized alterations, modifications or repairs.
